Baby shower sugar cookies for a boy...
For a boy’s baby shower, I made these tribal themed cookies. The arrow, tee-pee, and dream catcher stencils were from The Cookie Countess. However, I don’t believe she carries them anymore 🙁 For the feathers I used a brush embroidery technique. I really suggest you give it a try. Pretty simple and such an elegant effect!
I love using simple plaque cookie cutters to add some customization! And the little ties on the onesie just make me smile.
Baby shower sugar cookies for a girl...
This rose technique is another from Sweet Ambs. I was so nervous to try it. But as long as the icing consistency is right, it is truly so simple!
Baby feet are the cutest! And in cookie form I just melt. Add some little hearts in a coordinating color and these are sure to be a hit!
Gender neutral baby shower sugar cookies:
These were made for my niece’s baby shower, but these colors would be perfect for parents who have decided to have a gender surprise! For the eye and mouth details I used a fine tipped food color pen. And the rosy cheeks are airbrushed.
One more for fun...
These are actually from a gender reveal party. But I had to include them to accompany the fun baby theme! I think the bow ties and umbrellas are my favorites! The polka dots are made with a simple wet-on-wet technique. Then pipe the detail once dry!
